It truly felt like our own country manor, complete with soothing music playing in the background. The breakfasts were fabulous, and the hosts were incredibly helpful. We enjoyed the use of the bicycles to explore the area, and there were plenty of great spots to relax and soak in the surroundings. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was delicious and there were communal hang-out areas to socialize with other guests. The suite we stayed in was spacious, with a stunning view and a large bathroom.

The rooms at A Casa Do Governador were comfortable and well set up, with good linens and a great bed. the hotel offers two charming houses, one operating like a hotel with lounge areas and a dining room for breakfast and dinner. the other house is more like a self-catering area with spacious rooms and a large kitchen. the location on a farm adds an interesting touch to the experience.

We stayed here for two nights and instantly fell in love with the place. The decor is beautiful and the surrounding olive trees and meadow land create a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast had great choices, and the spacious bedroom and shower room were a delight. The location is just a short drive from the city walls and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. We hope to return soon.
